Sapphora: Shards of Secrecy

⭐️⭐️

I had a hard time with this book. I was priviledged to read this book as an ARC. There were a few moments that I liked. The intertwining of Egyptian mythology and the story was cool. However, it felt like there was too many elements, especially for a book which is intented to be a part of a sequel. Two villians is a lot for only being 48% through the book. It might also be personal taste, one of my pet peeves is when the FMC is whiny. She was. There was also a few times that the FMC gets confused about things, and it is explained the same way multiple times. I struggle with patience with that plot point. As of now, I have marked the book as DNF on my goodreads. I may try to pick it back up in a few months, but I have to take a break.
